With winter at its coldest moments, being forced inside isn’t always such a bad scenario. Walking alongside Emily Charles was an insightful way to watch the work of another artist. Emily Charles, a painting and drawing studies major in her third year of school, works on paintings both large and small scale. Along with the rigorous studio practice, Emily studies both art theory and history to create a well-informed practice. The white studio walls of this space are just one of the studios that Emily works at throughout the school year
