“ This session was the day after my daughter turned three. I had originally planned to shoot digital as well because I still sometimes have that lingering fear that I might not get the shots I want. I decided to trust myself and shoot only film and I’m so happy I did. I concentrated on trying to capture her as I see her by choosing a location where we would be away from distractions and I could allow her to wander and explore. I let her choose her clothes and bring her beloved baby so that the images feel more authentic to who she is at this moment. ” – Corrie Heisey
