With marriage comes an intimacy unlike any other—a complete sharing of home and heart. And at the center of all of this is a couple, vowing to share all that life tosses at them. And while most marriages start with beautiful weddings, I wanted to do a shoot that focused on the intimacy that’s at the heart of a wedding. I chose to focus on a few elegant details and florals in this studio bridal boudoir shoot. With a soft palette of neutrals, I wanted to focus on the simple beauty of the bride. Using many neutral and natural elements, like the green and white bouquet by Found and Created, ivory candlesticks with classic gold candlestick holders, and the cream Mrs. Box, I decided to show off the impact understated bridal elements can make. I love the look of the dark hard wood floors and white walls mixed with the feminine qualities of the ivory lingerie, the florals and oversized bouquet, and the classic veil. I included the wedding veil in as many photos as possible as a subtle reminder of her status as a bride and the newness and excitement of the marriage. I also love the additions of the timeless heels, simple furniture, and the flowy Shop Gossomer robe; they also help capture the soft, bridal vibes. And the bride’s delicate, natural makeup compliments the whole setup just perfectly! Can you believe that gorgeous red hair?! A personal favorite touch for me is the hand-written, calligraphy love letters. They exude simple elegance and are sweet keepsakes for the bride to cherish forever. I am extremely pleased with the overall feeling of the shoot and loved capturing the beauty and excitement of this bride. A bridal boudoir session like this is one that any spouse would cherish forever! ” – Jessica
